Global Media, War and Technology

Just completed a course on Global Media, War n Technology from a prestigious university. Interesting course into history of media. Good details about MIME network – Military, Industry, Media & Entertainment. Also how Al Qaida n ISIS used digimedia. Good course for media students

In one exercise I found a startling fact that for the same keyword Google Search generates different answers in different regions for different people. It is not just about localisation. It goes much deeper. The results vary from individual to individual based on the log in details and other personal info provided. In fact two different systems next to each other can generate two different search results for same location based on previous data that the search engine could accumulate. Has cyberspace invaded our minds also and supplies tailor-made results? An interesting revelation. A very interesting course.
