Watch: Views on Hindutva Not Forced on Anyone – Ram Madhav to NDTV

At a time when repeated references by the RSS to all Indians being Hindus have raised questions over whether the RSS is contradicting Prime Minister Modi’s own inclusive messaging, RSS pracharak and now BJP general secretary Ram Madhav tells NDTV that these are long-standing positions of the RSS and it’s a distortion to link them to the BJP being in power. In an exclusive interview, Ram Madhav said the RSS cannot be expected to change its position, but added that these views were not being thrust on anyone. He also spoke on whether the RSS agreed with the government’s Pakistan policy, whether the decision on not counting English marks in the UPSC exam was backed by the Sangh and whether the RSS will push a decision on Article 370 and Uniform Civil Code.
